Why Exotic?

Our name says it all. We take the ordinary and turn it into the extraordinary. We thrive on bringing a unique and customised service to each of our clients. Exotic Graphix stands out from others in the industry with our state-of-the-art shop, experienced staff, top of the range products accompanied by knowledge and training, and most importantly, follow through on each job that comes through the shop.

Knowing the demands of the industry and thinking in the best interest of our current and future clients, Exotic Graphix has made vinyl wrapping our area of expertise. We believe in the quality of the product, and know the advantages and benefits of vinyl wrap heavily outweigh that of paint. Vinyl shines in it’s durability, quick turnover time for application, versatility, cost effectiveness and maintenance.

Company History

It all started with passion, drive and the willingness to press the boundaries of creativity. With that, Exotic Graphix was born and now has made a name for itself in the custom and graphic design industry in Australia.

In 2008, Nick Caminiti put his knowledge and experience to good use and set up a then small factory in Carrum Downs. Caminiti partnered with a former colleague and formed Exotic Kustoms with two spray booths, a printer, laminator and a few clients to get the business up and running. The first year was challenging, but year two proved successful thanks in large part to word-of-mouth client feedback. It was also the year Caminiti took his first overseas trip to SEMA in Las Vegas, Nevada and decided to expand the business into the automotive sector.

At Sema, Caminiti discovered matte black and decided to purchase and bring the first roll of it back to Australia to test out. The trend started slow, but then swept interstate after a bit of patience and hard work. SEMA has become a regular research hole for Caminiti and his contacts overseas continue to grow.

In 2011, Exotic had its big break and was the only non-manufacturer to be invited to present at the Australian International Motorshow. Business boomed after Caminiti and his team showcased custom finished and fleet advertising. Knowing that side of the business was set to take off, Caminiti and his partner decided to segment. So in September 2011, Caminiti moved down the street to more space and more opportunity to focus on custom vinyl and fleet vehicles. Now, Exotic Graphix is thriving and bringing client positive results in the area of custom, graphic design.
